Zurich Film Festival 2023
Very happy to announce that I have been selected as the winner of the 11th International Film Music Competition in Zürich!
I scored the short animated film AU REVOIR JÉRÔME! by Chloé Farr, Gabrielle Selnet and Adam Sillard and it was performed by the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich on the 30th of September 2023 as part of the Zürich Film Festival.
It was wonderful to be joined on the night by the two other finalists, fellow Irish composer Cian McCarthy and Swedish composer Carl Falkenau and a great privilege to have gotten to know the members of the jury: Volker Bertelmann (President), Mark Bächle, Sophie Linnenbaum, Gabrielle Selnet, and conductor Frank Strobel.
